uPVC Ebre/Well Pipe
EBRE/Well Pipe, the discharge pipe for submersible pumps, is the result of years of specific tests based on know-how and always aimed at responding to market demands and seeking solutions to solve the identified problems. EBRE/Well Pipe is the new discharge pipe made of high-quality rigid uPVC used to connect submersible pumps to the supply network. Its physical-chemical structure and unique extrusion guarantee resistance to high internal pressures and the traction forces generated by the different stresses to which the structure is subjected during installation and use. EBRE/Well Pipe tubes offer exceptional impact resistance, showing no damage or deformation during laboratory tests or displacement, installation, and uninstallation simulations. With a length of 4 meters, they are lightweight, easy to handle, and transport.
They are trapezoidal male-male threaded pipes at the ends and are delivered with a pre-installed and factory-locked sleeve that incorporates two sealing rings. The real innovation is the built-in mechanical locking system for pipes from 60 mm. This prevents accidental loosening that can be caused by vibrations or abnormal column twists, avoiding the inconveniences of the case. The pipe connects to the pump through a stainless steel piece that facilitates installation, saving time and money. EBRE/Well Pipe has smooth internal walls without narrowings, which prevents them from being affected by any type of corrosion and by stray currents from the subsoil. The hydrodynamic tests of EBRE/Well Pipe have demonstrated an excellent hydraulic coefficient (k = 0.01), which guarantees insignificant flow losses and lower pumping costs, as well as fewer water hammer effects due to the lower load speed (one-third compared to that of metal pipes). EBRE – Well Pipe is approved for the transport of drinking water and food liquids in general, meaning that they do not affect the quality of the transported fluid or alter its composition.
